The Great Impressionist
takes His brush in hand
and thickly lays on the paint
in neutral greys
and soothing whites,
in tender greens
and ruddy browns,
giving us peaceful respite
in the noonday sun .

Beautiful! Today I felt like I was going to see a rainbow at any minute in the sky. There was no rain, but the sky held that quality of different colors. Your poem sort of reminds me of that.
